About Daily Cities
Daily Cities is a free geography game that challenges you to identify cities from around the world using satellite imagery and distance-based clues.
Our Mission
We want to make learning about world cities fun and accessible for everyone. Whether you're a geography enthusiast, a trivia buff, or just curious about the world, Daily Cities offers a fresh challenge every day to expand your knowledge of global cities and landmarks.
Why We Made This Game
We love geography games and enjoy the challenge they provide. However, we noticed that many games focus primarily on countries and their borders. While playing Jeopardy and trivia games, we realized that city-based questions were often the hardest to answer - we simply didn't know enough about individual cities around the world.
That's when we decided to create Daily Cities. We wanted a game that would help us (and others) learn about specific cities - their locations, their characteristics, and how they relate to other places on Earth. Now, when a trivia question asks about a city, we have a much better chance of knowing where it is and what it's near!
How It Works
Each day, we select a mystery city from our database of 100 famous cities worldwide. You make guesses, and the game shows you how close you are using color-coded circles on the map. The closer you get, the "hotter" the color becomes - just like the classic game of hot and cold!
